YYachts Spain : Marina Estrella becomes official representative in 2026
Marina Estrella has been appointed official representative of YYachts Spain, bringing one of Europe’s most distinctive builders of performance sailing yachts to the Spanish market.
Founded in Germany by renowned yacht entrepreneur Michael Schmidt, YYachts has developed a reputation for building large sailing yachts that combine lightweight carbon construction, elegant minimalist design and exceptional sailing performance.
Through this new partnership, Spanish owners can now access the complete YYachts range, together with the sales and service support of Marina Estrella across Spain and the Mediterranean.
A new generation of performance cruising yachts
YYachts has built its reputation around a clear philosophy: creating large sailing yachts that remain efficient, lightweight and easy to handle.
Unlike many traditional cruising yachts, YYachts places strong emphasis on reducing displacement and improving sailing performance. This is achieved through extensive use of advanced carbon composite construction, allowing the yachts to be significantly lighter than comparable vessels.

The vision behind YYachts
YYachts was founded by Michael Schmidt, one of the most influential figures in modern sailing yacht development and the original founder of HanseYachts.
